The CBD tincture I use everyday

I get messages everyday about what tincture I use daily. So I figured I would type a blog on it. 😋❣️

First.... what is CBD exactly?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substance, CBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.

CBD will NOT get you high but it will give you medicinal affects

For my everyday CBD medication I take the 1000mg Uplift tincture from Urban roots and let me explain why:

I started off by trying to get my CBD from flower and cartridges. While those two options are not bad they are not the best way you could be taking CBD. CBD needs to be taken everyday to even work in your system. It can take anywhere from 12 hours for some people to 2 months for others to start relieving symptoms. Symptoms/illnesses that CBD can help relieve:

7. High blood pressure

I started taking Cannabis for my PTSD & ADHD. Both of my disorders cause me to have Social anxiety, Chronic pain, Insomnia and Depression. If I were to just take THC I wouldn't be able to function so I add CBD in the mix. Since I already have to smoke to take THC I wanted to make sure it was something I could ingest since it needs to be taken daily for it to work. Two great options for not smoking would be to take gummies or a tincture. The fastest way for it to work with in your system would be the tincture so I decided to go with that.

I started off by using Hempworx- I loved that they were third party tested and they had a full Spectrum line. Taking full spectrum CBD is important. You are not only getting the benefits of CBD but other Cannabinoids as well. While CBD is very beneficial it is not the only thing that can help you when trying to balance out an illness. Other Terpenes and Cannabinoids that are overlooked could be essential to your healing process. While Hempworx wasn't bad... I didn't like that they weren't from Michigan and they weren't very affordable. So I set my sights out for something better and boy did I find it.

The owner of Urban roots dm'd me telling me about his tincture and gave me a sample to try last summer. Little did he know I've been stalking his company a little before us meeting and was already obsessed. Their company has other products that has won awards just for being solid products that actually work. So I know that I had struck gold.

Why is this important?

This is extremely important. It is one not only making sure that test results are legit but also testing for other things that could be harmful to your health. What? its just weed right?... WRONG

If you do start taking CBD start out low and slow. If you are anything like me you will want to take the whole tincture because of the amount of problems you have or the amount you think you can smoke. It does not work like that and you will end up falling asleep. If you are tired even when taking small dosages I recommend taking at night.
